“Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her . . . As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem” (Isa 66:10–13).

On May 20, the 74th Overseas Visiting Group members from various parts of the world flew along like doves to their nests, and were carried in the arms of the New Jerusalem, according to the prophecy of the Bible. The visiting group consisted of 93 members from over 70 Churches of God in 17 countries, including Germany, Spain, Bulgaria, the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and New Zealand. Two-thirds of them visited Korea for the first time. To meet God the Mother in person, they left for the pilgrimage to the land of promise where the truth of the new covenant had been restored. They couldn’t conceal their happiness during their stay in Korea.

Mother warmly welcomed Her children who came from far-off countries, riding the prophetic flow, although they were busy working in various fields. She prayed that they would fill other brothers and sisters in their countries with the power of love and of the Holy Spirit and fulfill their role as gospel workers to accomplish the movement to preach to seven billion people. “The glory of heaven is given to those who are cleansed from the filth of sin and born again into new selves, putting the love of Christ into practice with a humble heart. As you’ve been preaching God’s word to people whether they listen or fail to listen, the children of heaven from all nations are now being led to Zion,” said Mother. She asked them to work hard to save souls, being united in mind and purpose as the children of God Elohim.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol asked the members during the worship services held at the New Jerusalem Pangyo Temple and the Church of God in Nakseom, Incheon: “We have many crossroads in our lives. At every crossroad, let us depend on God instead of relying on our own thoughts and follow the teachings of the Bible. Let us always treat one another with love and kindness in speech and behavior, so that everyone can feel God’s fragrance in the church whose owner is God, and share the warmth of comfort and the blessing of salvation with our families, friends, colleagues, and neighbors, who are exhausted from living in the world, by diligently preaching the truth to them in the given situations.”

Mother took great care of the visiting group physically and spiritually. With Mother’s love, they participated in various programs—visiting the Church of God History Museum, attending the Arise & Shine Global Bible Seminar 2019 as well as the Global Conference to Accomplish the Movement to Preach to Seven Billion People, and so on, witnessing the rapid fulfillment of prophecies through the sacrifice of God. They imagined the future of the gospel through the development status of Korea at the Seoul Sky Observatory, and understood the love of Elohim the Creators for Their children not only through the creativity and excellence of Korean alphabet but also through the love for his people of King Sejong the Great who invented the Korean alphabet at the National Hangeul Museum. They also experienced touching moments while visiting “Our Mother” Writing & Photo Exhibition.

When the members returned to their countries after having a fruitful time in Korea, they expressed their commitment to the gospel.

“Most people I meet while working as a lawyer are those in trouble. The duty of a lawyer is to defend those people according to the laws and principles, and the duty of a member of Zion is to comfort them with heartfelt words. When I go back to Brazil, I will defend them with a loving heart and do my best to rescue them from spiritual danger as well” (Vinícius de Medeíros Marçal from Cuiabá, Brazil).

“I’ve started a new job after four years of service in the navy. That’s why my visit to Korea this time is more special. I realized God’s love based on my knowledge before, but now I’ve come to understand the love of God with my heart. I will share the grace and blessings, which I’ve received from God, with the people around me, applying God’s love to every area of my life” (Kurt Alan Schommer from San Diego, CA, U.S.).
