On May 7, the 8th Foreign Language Bible Preaching Contest was held in Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute. About 1,700 members gathered to receive the ability of speaking in tongues so that they would shine the light of glory of Jerusalem over the world. The contest was held for 3 purposes: one was to select foreign language Bible teachers, another was to encourage those who try to preach in foreign languages and the other was to choose workers for translation. The overseas members from USA, New Zealand and Canada also participated in this event, which enhanced the goal of this event, Selecting the gospel workers for world mission.

At a little past noon, the opening worship service began in the gymnasium. The Male Acappella Choir praised God with a new song, Swiftly I Will Do This in English.

Mother gave a teaching about the faith Gods people should have, saying, Long ago, Abraham and Apostle Paul fearlessly went to the strange and dangerous places without hesitation, following the word of God. Its because they firmly believed that God is with them. When we have such faith and keep pace with the prophecies, God helps us and gives us strength.

Mother awakened us how blissful and thankful it is that we are called by God to save souls as witnesses of God in the age of Holy Spirit. She also asked us to be Apostle Pauls in this age and fulfill the prophecies of the Bible, understanding Gods calling.

After worship service, the preaching contest began in the main building. All participants kept practicing the preaching, even walking to the contest hall. They made every effort before examiners to deliver the love and heart of God, remembering Mothers word, Even though we preach only one sentence, or a single word, if we have earnest love to save souls, the door for world mission will be widely opened.

After the contest was finished, all participants moved again to the gymnasium. While their scores were collected and totalized, they watched videos. Through the videos, they learned the faith of Apostle Paul and recognized anew their duty for world mission in this age; also, they moved by the love and sacrifice of Mother who is achieving great miracles by prayer.

After watching the videos, overseas members presented a special song of praise to God and were received a big round of applause for their excellent and heartfelt singing. And then, 4 members who were selected to be awarded demonstrated their preaching boldly with ardent voice.

At the awards ceremony, a total of 24 members received awards; each 8 members were chosen from the group of foreign language Bible teachers, from the group of foreign language Bible preacher, and from the group for translation.

Mother blessed all the participants to bear much good fruit, saying that it is important to speak foreign languages fluently but what is more important is to bear fruit; the awards were given to those who bore much fruit.

Brother Hyeong-Woo Kim, who received the grand award from the group of foreign language Bible teachers, said, I truly give thanks to God for making me a gospel worker and widely opening all the way of gospel. Deacon Brian from New York, who demonstrated the preaching, showed his strong resolution, saying, I thanked Father and Mother with all my heart. While preaching, I could think nothing except bearing fruit.

Water does not boil at 99 degree Celsius. It boils at 100 degree and transforms into gas. In order to fulfill the gospel prophesied in the Bible, the eagerness of members to turn up the last 1 degree is needed. I can do everything in Him who gives me strength! If all the members in Zion preach the Spirit and the Bride to the whole world with strong faith and enthusiasm of Apostle Paul, the world missions will be accomplished very soon.
