On March 26, Awards Ceremony for the gospel fruit was held in the main hall of the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute during the General Assembly 2006. In the ceremony, the attendants set the result of the gospel work for the last year and started the new goal. About 11,000 attendants gathered from all over Korea and overseas and gave thanks to God for letting them bear good fruit last year.

The members of all age groupsmale and female adult, young adult and student membersattended this ceremony. The number of the awardees and the size of the ceremony were enough to show how greatly the gospel is being preached now.

During the service in the first half of the ceremony, Mother gave thanks to Father for allowing His children to find many souls, and praised the members for their efforts in preaching the gospel with earnest hearts last year. She also expressed her pleasure for the members who fervently preached the gospel in various places in the world and for those who flew to God from overseas. Mother showed Her eager desire for the gospel to be preached in every country around the world this year.

In addition, She taught them that the most precious thing for man is life and said, Lets live joyfully every day, giving thanks to God for granting eternal life to mankind who is a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes as it is written in James 4:14.

Mother reminded the members of the glorious and beautiful inheritance of heaven, which is prepared for them, and told them to be the children who hope for the inheritance of heaven in joy and perform their duty and fight the good fight of the faith like Apostle Paul, so that they all can receive the crown of righteousness.

The Chief Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim showed his hopeful ambition, saying, Lets work hard so that all the peoples of the world can return to God in 2006. He told a story of a dutiful son who went out to seek strawberries in cold winter for his old mother; the son could find the strawberries as heaven was moved by his love for his mother. Telling the above story, the Chief Pastor set the direction of the gospel. He said, God is always at His work to this very day, and He wants the gospel to be preached in Samaria and to the ends of the earth and to make disciples of all nations. Let us fill our hearts with the spiritual love for God and fulfill the world mission according to the will of God.

After the service, the members watched a video and engraved in their hearts the Mothers word, The true love is to share eternal life by preaching the Passover, so that people can be saved from disasters. They resolved to spread the true love to many people who are dying in the unexpected disasters in the world.

The second half of the ceremony began with the choirs gracious praise of giving thanks to God for shining the light of the gospel. Listening to the beautiful melody, the members remembered the sacrifice of Father, and they gave applause to the choir, being deeply touched. When the Childrens Choir danced the Korean traditional dance with beautiful smiles on the faces on the stage, the members gave an exclamation of joy.

When the celebration was over, the main ceremony began. The awards were given to members and churches in 9 categories. Awards were given to individual members and groups for each age and to the churches with good gospel result in the 4th quarter and for the last one year. The awards were also given to the churches which educated the Church members well, churches which raised many gospel workers and the churches which branched out a church. Lastly, 37 churches who gave glory to God with much fruit for the last one year were also awarded. In the endless applause, the awardees gave thanks to God.

The attendants gave big applause whenever each awardee went up on stage. They said, We have noticed that more people are awarded by God this time, compared to the last time. Well work hard so that we stand on that stage to be awarded next time.

Many of the awardees were overseas members or overseas churches. Whenever the awards were given to overseas members, the attendants gave bigger applause with their ardent love, praying earnestly for the overseas churches and members who worked hard in difficult circumstances.

All the awardees gave glory to God and said, We only did what God told us to do. We give great thanks to God for awarding us. A member who had pleased God by bearing a lot of fruit for the past one year humbly said, I only tried to follow Gods will, praying always, giving thanks to God and smiling all day. For that, God allowed me to lead many souls to Zion. I will try harder for more prizes.

After the ceremony, Mother encouraged Her children who had worked hard for the gospel, saying, The awards were given because all of you worked hard, and blessed them to bear abundant good fruit.

On the way back home, the members gave thanks to Mother for Her love to encourage them all the time even though they lack in everything. They were firmly determined to become the children worthy of being awarded and praised by God. They resolved to take a part in the gospel work by doing their best even in little things, following the will of God, Preach the gospel all over the world in 2006.

Mankind is trembling in fear of numerous disasters. God Himself has let us know how to receive eternal life and called His children who are to inherit the kingdom of heaven. He wants to fulfill the world evangelism through us. If we all become spiritual dutiful sons and daughters, who diligently preach the good news of life in various places of the world in obedience to Gods will, the glorious day when all peoples on earth will come before God will come soon.
